SAN DIEGO (Friday, Jan. 3, 2025) – San Diego FC (SDFC) is proud to announce a partnership with North County Soccer Park to deepen the organizations’ commitment to youth development in San Diego County and to introduce Major League Soccer to the North County Soccer Park community.

North County Soccer Park is located in Poway and serves children, teens, and adults with soccer leagues and classes for all ages. Founded in 1986, NCSP has become an icon in the San Diego soccer community and serves them seven days a week. NCSP has been operating in San Diego County for 39 years and currently has 133 classes, 113 teams and over 2200 active players.

“As a long-standing soccer institution in San Diego, North County Soccer Park is elated and proud to be part of San Diego FC’s community partner network.” said NCSP Director Jon Martin. “We are thrilled that SDFC recognizes the importance of grassroots youth development, but more importantly, the role it has in fostering an early love of the beautiful game. Community is a strong pillar of both of our organizations, and this partnership will continue to hold this shared value to the highest standard, ensuring that football continues to thrive in San Diego.”

As SDFC kicks off its inaugural season in MLS in 2025, this partnership greatly benefits the long-standing passion for the game in San Diego County, which is widely known as a hotbed for players, fans and fan engagement.

“North County Soccer Park has long been an incredible grassroots hub for soccer in San Diego, providing a top-notch experience for players and families alike,” said Bill Miles, COO of SDFC and Executive Director of SDFC’s Right to Dream Academy. “We’re excited to partner with such a respected, longstanding soccer entity to help further grow the game in the region and create new opportunities for the local soccer community to enjoy the sport.”

SDFC’s objective is to support North County Soccer Park with programming that enhances North County Soccer Park’s strengths and provides increased opportunities for players and families to experience the game. SDFC and North County Soccer Park will be in touch with their communities soon with more details about the partnership.

Both organizations look forward to growing the game in San Diego and beyond. Please join SDFC in 2025 at Snapdragon Stadium to celebrate SDFC’s historical inaugural season! To check out SDFC’s 2025 schedule, please visit SanDiegoFC.com/schedule.
