Snapdragon Stadium is a 35,000-seat multipurpose venue serving as the largest soccer specific venue in the country. The stadium is owned by San Diego State University and operated by OVG360. Purpose built for soccer with a safe standing supporter section, site lines, and diverse premium offerings. As part of SDSU Mission Valley, Snapdragon Stadium serves as a year-round entertainment destination and hub of community engagement. The venue is designed to achieve LEED Gold certification and manages sustainability efforts as a top priority. Snapdragon Stadium will have multiple fields that are grown and ready implement throughout the season. Snapdragon Stadium will also be adding grow lights and additional maintenance equipment in advance of the 2025 season. Scheduling is at the forefront of our decisions to ensure the Pitch is safe and ready for a world-class experience for each match.

Stadium Guidelines

Please remember to follow Snapdragon Stadium guidelines before entering the stadium. Only clear bags (12”x6”12”) and purses, bags, or clutches no larger than 4.5” x6.5” will be allowed.

The majority of our matches will take place on Saturday nights at 7:30pm. Over 90% of MLS matches in 2023 took place at night. Considering our regular season spanning from February to October and the various sun and shade studies at Snapdragon Stadium, we do not anticipate high temperatures adversely affecting our fans’ enjoyment.

Transportation & Parking

1. Signage: We are adding 16+ directional digital signage boards along with additional static signage widening the radius of stadium traffic instructions by 300% to improve the fan experience on ingress and egress.
2. Additional Support Staff: We are adding 40%+ more staff in and around the stadium to ensure that the experience getting to the matches is clearer and easier.
3. Improved Traffic Plan: We are working with Stadium Authorities and Local Police Department to help with light controls and traffic management. There will be a 50%+ increase in the number of intersections that are manually controlled.
4. New Rideshare Plan: We will be unveiling a brand new rideshare plan designed to make getting to and from the stadium faster, easier, and more convenient.
