San Diego FC Remains Unbeaten at Home with 3-0 win Against Seattle Sounders FC

San Diego FC (SDFC) earned its second-straight home win with a 3-0 victory against Seattle Sounders FC, extending its unbeaten streak at Snapdragon Stadium to four matches in its 2025 MLS inaugural season. With tonight’s win, SDFC is now 2-0-2 at home.

SDFC has won two consecutive home matches while scoring three first-half goals in each match. SDFC's Jeppe Tverskov, Aníbal Godoy and Hirving “Chucky” Lozano found the net for head coach Mickey Varas’ squad in the first half against Seattle in the first meeting between the two Western Conference rivals.

1-0 SD – Jeppe Tverskov (Hirving “Chucky” Lozano), 2nd minute: Tverskov opened the scoring with a composed left-footed strike from near the center of the box after receiving a quick pass from Lozano, calmly controlling the ball and slotting it past Seattle goalkeeper Stefan Frei for his first goal with SDFC.

2-0 SD – Aníbal Godoy (Anders Dreyer), 41st minute: Godoy doubled the SDFC lead with a left-footed shot into the bottom right corner off a pass by Dreyer. Godoy charged into the penalty box to get the pass from Dreyer on the scoring play that also came off a ball played in from left to right by Hirving “Chucky Lozano.

3-0 SD – Hirving “Chucky” Lozano (Jasper Löffelsend), 45+3 minute: Lozano extended the lead with his first-ever goal for SDFC, splitting a pair of defenders on a breakaway off a pass from Löffelsend before going one-on-one with Seattle goalkeeper Stefan Frei and burying a right-footed shot.
