Throughout 2024 San Diego FC visited each of the 18 incorporated cities. The goal was to introduce ourselves to each community, produce a one-day soccer style event, and collaborate with artists to create a piece of art that reflected how soccer thrived in their respective city. The following are those artists from each Chrome Ball Tour city, who became the foundational groundwork for the Playmakers initiative.



Gabriel Medina — Oceanside
Gabriel Medina, 32, from Oceanside, is an artist, designer and entrepreneur with a strong background in brand growth. He has helped expand clothing companies by blending creativity with strategic business acumen. Passionate about art and brand building, he thrives in dynamic environments driven by innovation.


Aled Anaya - Escondido
Aled Anaya is a graphic designer, muralist, and educator born in 1991 in Escondido, CA. The son of Mexican immigrants, he was deeply influenced from an early age by the bold aesthetics of the Mexican Muralism movement and contemporary Latin American street art. His work reflects these cultural influences, blending traditional symbolism with a modern twist. What sets Aled’s artwork apart is his ability to reimagine symbols through dynamic line work and contemporary design. Based in Southern California, he creates murals throughout the region and teaches Printing & Graphic Arts to 9th–12th grade students at Orange Glen High School.


Dave “Persue” Ross — Poway
Dave "Persue" (per-SWAY) is a celebrated American artist, a pioneer in 1990s skateboard art and a trailblazer in West Coast street art. Renowned for his bold graphics and imaginative storytelling, Persue is perhaps best known as the creator of the beloved Bunny Kitty universe, a whimsical world that bridges street art with heartfelt narratives that have captivated fans worldwide. Rooted in the subcultures of skateboarding and graffiti, Persue’s distinctive style has left a lasting impact through murals, illustrations, international exhibitions, and collaborations with major brands. With a career spanning decades, he continues to inspire new generations with his creativity, authenticity, and passion for storytelling.


Channin Fulton — Santee
Channin Fulton is an artist and designer from San Diego, California. She runs a studio business specializing in murals, lettering, and illustration. A huge inspiration for Channin is the Southern California environment, bringing a warm lens of tactile delight, bold shape, and vibrant color into her work.


Bryan Snyder — Carlsbad
Bryan is a Carlsbad artist and art teacher. He considers himself a community artist who does it all: paints, draws, sculpts, and creates digital art. His focus is on art that brings people together.


Josué Baltezar — Chula Vista
Josué Baltezar (he/him) is an illustrator, muralist, and designer who believes art should be accessible to everyone. Josue grew up playing soccer in Chula Vista and southbay San Diego, and recognizes the power that both art and sports have in amplifying voices and advocating for meaningful, social causes.


Enrique “Chikle” Lugo — Chula Vista
Enrique Lugo, better known as Chikle!, is the proud son of Mexican Immigrants, a visual artist and San Diego native committed to human-centered education, entrepreneurship, and transformative commUNITY activism that challenges the status quo!


Paola “Panca” Villaseñor — Chula Vista & Blank Canvas Jersey
Paola Villaseñor (born 1986), better known by her nickname Panca, is a painter, muralist, street artist and illustrator born in San Diego, CA. Thematically, her work focuses on the dichotomy and decay of humanity using neon and pastel colors, grotesque figures and distorted shapes. She has been working between Mexico and the United States since 2004 making wheat-paste art, indoor murals, large-scale outdoor murals and paintings on various different surfaces.


Scott Hultgren — Vista
Scott grew up in North County, playing soccer, skateboarding, and riding bikes. With school notes filled with drawings, it's no surprise that he found design and has since become a go-to for sports and active lifestyle brands like Adidas, Burton, Nixon, Helly Hansen, and SDFC. He enjoys living in the hills of Vista, working on his startup, Versus Tires, doing client work, and spending time with his family.


Jordan & Tori Stark — Del Mar
Jordan & Tori are the team behind Westside Love, a brand rooted in art, culture, and community. What started as an art project in the early-2000s has grown into a movement that celebrates identity and place through premium headwear and apparel. With a passion for storytelling and design, they continue to evolve the brand while staying true to its mission of quality, cultural authenticity, and love.


Andrew Holder - Solana Beach
Andrew Holder uses simple shapes and complex textures to craft his images, often drawing inspiration from nature and his surroundings. When not making art, he can be found anywhere but indoors.


Phoebe Nelson — Coronado
Phoebe is a muralist, designer, and the founder of Pandr Design Co., a woman-owned mural studio based in San Diego. For the past ten years, she has painted murals around the world, bringing bold lettering and vibrant color palettes to brands and public spaces. Pandr Design Co. specializes in large-scale, eye-catching murals that transform spaces and connect with communities.


Skye Walker — Encinitas
Skye Walker brings emotion, energy, and a deep connection to people and nature into his art. A Southern California native, he has painted over 400 murals across the U.S., yet San Diego remains his favorite place to live and create. From paper to canvas to large-scale murals, his passion lies in crafting original, captivating works that celebrates our bond with Mother Earth.


Dane Danner — El Cajon
From El Cajon, California Dane Danner can best be defined as a professional illustrator and designer with a fine art degree from Laguna College of Art and Design. His interests include building surfboards on the side of his house, hot rodding his 1955 Chevy Wagon, chain stitching sanctioned car club jackets, skateboarding and designing tiki mugs for various San Diego restaurants . He is inspired and motivated by his wife of 20 years and two surfing sons.


Omar Garcia — National City
Omar Garcia is a graphic designer and founder of OG Design Co, specializing in logo design and brand identity. With nearly two decades of experience, he has collaborated with clients ranging from local businesses to major brands like Facebook, Kellogg’s, and MLS. In addition to running OG Design Co, he teaches at San Diego City College and Southwestern College, sharing his industry expertise with the next generation of designers.


TJ Harmon — San Marcos
TJ Harmon is an artist and graphic designer with a passion for progression. He constantly challenges himself to experiment with all forms of media to create memorable works of art.


Adam Hathorn — La Mesa
Adam is a San Diego-based tattoo artist and all around art nerd who lives in La Mesa. He does artwork all around San Diego from wallpapers in restaurants to art shows, clothing, and illustration jobs.

Donald Gould — Imperial Beach
A lifelong creative, educator, and problem-solver, I’m driven to explore and master new techniques—from drawing and music to woodworking and graffiti. I’m passionate about sharing my knowledge through teaching, fostering creativity in others, and unconventional ways to express creativity.


ArtReach & Brianna
ArtReach is a visual arts education nonprofit that provides free and low-cost arts programs and murals to schools and communities across San Diego County. Brianna Barreiro-Guerrero, an 8th grader at Lemon Grove Academy Middle School, won a school-wide design contest, earning the opportunity to have her artwork featured in the Chrome Ball Tour. She was the only youth artist included in the tour, and her design later inspired a mural painted at her school.


Koy Sun — San Diego
Koy Sun is a sign painter and illustrator who likes to tell stories on the internet. With over 750k followers across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, Koy uses his platform to post short videos telling intimate stories to inspire and support his local community. His work considers contemporary culture while adhering to traditional forms of sign writing, emphasizing the human touch within the digital age.


Raven “RevengeLover” Cruz — San Diego
Raven is a seasoned and innovative creative professional located in Southern California, dedicated to adding vibrancy and marketing strategy to both the digital and physical spaces. She brings a wealth of experiences as Graphic Designer and Illustrator for numerous AAA titles within the gaming industry, local businesses, global businesses, and more.


Gerardo Acamonchi
Born in Mexico in 1970, Gerardo Yepiz is a major contributor to the worldwide street art and graffiti scene. He is a visual artist, graphic designer, and silkscreen printer. His work is closely tied to the international music and action sports industries. Gerardo is an outspoken vegan as well as bike activist.


Richie Moon — Chrome Ball Tour Logo
Richie Moon is a Mexican-American designer based in San Diego, CA, with deep roots in the vibrant community of Imperial Beach. Drawing inspiration from his cultural heritage and the rich colors of Mexican pop culture, his designs often reflect the bold, artistic styles seen in rótulos—traditional hand-painted signs and the lively energy of border-town life. Specializing in typography, branding, and logos, Richie's distinctive approach has caught the attention of various prominent clients. His portfolio includes collaborations with the San Diego Padres, Eddie Zuko, San Diego FC and more.


Claudia “Sew Loka” Rodriguez — Woven Into One Capsule Collection
Chicana fashion designer, Claudia Rodríguez-Biezunski, was introduced to sewing at a very young age by her immigrant parents. Once she started sewing, she couldn’t stop. Today, you will find Claudia sewing one-of-a-kind clothing & accessories using reclaimed fabrics for women and men in the vibrant neighborhood of Barrio Logan in San Diego, CA.


Monty Montgomery — Blank Canvas Jersey
Monty Montgomery’s artistic vision can best be described as an emotional language created using his innate intuition about color and object relationships to connect with the viewer. This authentic viewpoint often humbly defies the norm giving his work both power and vulnerability. Exposure to divergent settings and combining urban sensory input with his impressions of the natural landscape has inspired a collision into one expression where he attempts, through color theory, mathematics, and abstraction to share his journey and create a unique geometric style.
